The value for money at Dairy Cottage - E5279 was fantastic, with a well-equipped and comfortable room. The location was great, close to the river and a flat walk into town. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
Food for breakfast could have been better with more variety or options.

The little extras left for us, like milk, eggs, and KitKats, were a nice touch. The cleanliness and warmth of the property were also impressive. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and thought of everything we needed while being away from home.
If I had to be super fussy, some of the features didn't suit tall people, like the upstairs bed and the basin/mirror in the upstairs bathroom. However, the ground floor bathroom was more than sufficient.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside. The location was fantastic, with easy access to scenic walks along the river and a short distance to shops and supermarkets. The cottage itself was clean and well-equipped, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture. The hosts were welcoming and provided thoughtful extras like milk, eggs, and KitKats. The shower was a blissful treat after a day of exploring.
Some of the windows in the cottage were not easily accessible for looking out, which was a bit of a shame.

The cottage is well-equipped and comfortable, with high levels of cleanliness. It is located close to Durham, but still feels remote. Shops and supermarkets are nearby. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the little extras provided, like milk, eggs, and KitKats. The cottage has everything you need for a home-away-from-home experience.
Felt very special, no complaints whatsoever.

The cottage was well-equipped for self-catering with everything we needed. The level of cleanliness was impressive and the furniture was comfortable. The location was great, feeling remote yet still close to amenities. We enjoyed walking along the river to a nearby town and found supermarkets nearby for convenience.
It was unfortunate that there were no real windows to look out of readily. we found the layout of the bedroom to be a little inconvenient and there were no bedside lights for nighttime reading.

We had a fantastic stay at this well-equipped, clean, and comfortable cottage. The location was perfect - close to Durham yet surrounded by peaceful countryside. We enjoyed walking along the river to Durham during the day, but it's advisable to take an Uber back to the cottage if returning late. The hosts were welcoming and provided thoughtful extras like milk, eggs, and KitKats. We also loved having access to the beautiful garden with its stunning view of Durham Cathedral.
Nothing - our experience was excellent!
